Lockdown gave the opportunity to harness social media and adapt my business into a non-client facing mode, and to my surprise, the clients responded! In the streets below my studio, there was a calm and quiet I’d never known, and this was utterly relaxing in the day.
Luckily, the local markets with fresh produce remained open and the days ended with healthy, happy meals, prepared and enjoyed with my partner.

The investment in new technology gave me a new window to the world of work. During this time in lockdown I realised the importance of establishing a routine. I looked forward to long walks with my partner, re-establishing our relationship. And while out in the city it was extraordinary and pleasurable to see calm, clean streets and hear the birds sing!
